Wine Tastings
We love to host talented winemakers in our bar for a tasting. It's a way to celebrate the many wineries from near and far that make up our community.
UPCOMING TASTINGS:
MUSK LANE WINe
Monday 5 May
6pm — 8pm
Join us next Monday 5th May as we welcome Brendan Lane of Musk Lane. Based in Kyneton, Brendan founded Musk Lane in 2015 to make thoughtful, small-batch wines from cooler pockets of Central Victoria. His fruit is sourced in parcels from growers around the Macedon Ranges, Heathcote, and Central Victoria, producing wild-fermented wines with minimal intervention to preserve site and varietal character.
Before striking out on his own, Brendan spent time at Passing Clouds, training under the great Cameron Leith. This experience in regenerative viticulture and cool-climate winemaking continues to inform Brendan's work, with his approach focused on regionality, drinkability and gentle experimentation. Alongside Fiano, Pinot Noir, Syrah and Nebbiolo, he explores the occasional expression of lesser-known and lesser-grown grapes.
Drop in on Monday night to meet Brendan and learn more about the wines of Musk Lane.
He will be pouring:
2021 Musk Lane Moscato Giallo
2021 Musk Lane 'Faraday Vineyard' Pinot Noir
2021 Musk Lane Syrah
Walk-ins welcomed.
