On Monday 2 March, we welcomed Neil Hawkins from The Wine Farm. Neil trained at Stellenbosch University, and honed his craft across leading cellars in South Africa, the Rhône, Bordeaux, Alsace and New Zealand before settling with Anna in South Gippsland in 2014.

There, on one of mainland Australia’s southernmost vineyards, they farm 30-year-old, own-rooted vines. Their exclusively estate-grown wines are defined by purity, natural acidity and cool-climate precision. Demeter-certified biodynamic, their focus is rigorous soil health and transparent, chemical-free farming from vine to bottle.
