Join us on Monday 14th September as we welcome acclaimed Australian winemaker and industry heavyweight David Bicknell.
With more than 30 years of winemaking experience and two decades as a wine judge, David has played a significant role in shaping the Australian wine industry. After 10 years at De Bortoli and 24 years at the helm of Oakridge, he was recently named Gourmet Traveller WINE Magazine’s Winemaker of the Year.
David now devotes his time to bicknellfc, the family project he runs with Nicky Harris, making small-batch wines from distinctive vineyards. Their focus has increasingly settled on Lance Vineyard in St Andrews, a historic Yarra Valley site producing some of the project’s most focused and compelling wines.
Drop in on Monday to meet David and taste a selection of his wines, while hearing from one of the most influential figures in Australian wine.
