Join us on Monday, 3 August, as we welcome Isabella Pelizzatti Perego of AR.PE.PE at Marion.
AR.PE.PE is the project of the Perego family, high in Italy's Valtellina. Farming granite terraces since 1860, they work exclusively with Nebbiolo — known locally as Chiavennasca — across the historic subzones of Sassella, Grumello and Inferno, the heart of Valtellina Superiore DOCG. The wines are built on patience: long, gentle macerations in large “tini”, followed by extended ageing in large “botti”, producing Nebbiolo of remarkable precision, texture and drive.
Drop in on Monday, 3 August from 6-8pm to meet Isabella, try her family’s wines and stay for some Marion snacks.
